The Challenge: Disconnected HCM and Financial Systems
Our client faced significant challenges due to disconnected Human Capital Management (HCM) data residing in Oracle HCM Cloud and core financial processes managed within their Oracle EBS system. Manually transferring employee data, including onboarding/offboarding details, work structure changes, payroll costs, and leave accruals, from HCM Cloud to EBS was a time-consuming, error-prone, and inefficient process.

This manual effort led to delays in updating critical employee information in EBS, impacting downstream processes such as general ledger posting, budgeting, and cost analysis. Maintaining consistency between the two systems was a constant struggle, resulting in data discrepancies and requiring significant manual reconciliation efforts. The lack of seamless integration hindered timely and accurate financial reporting and workforce cost analysis.

The Solution: Automating Data Flow with Oracle Integration Cloud
DPR Solutions  partnered with the client to implement a robust and automated integration solution between their Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle EBS applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The focus was on creating a seamless flow of essential employee data to ensure consistency and accuracy across both critical systems.

  • Automated Employee Data Transfer: We designed and implemented integrations to automatically transfer key employee lifecycle data, such as new hires, terminations, and updates to employee records, from Oracle HCM Cloud to Oracle EBS.
